Baskin-Robbins’ Heath Bar shake: yum?

Thanks to Hugh Joseph for alerting me to this remarkable beverage from Baskin-Robbins: a large “Heath Shake.” This energy drink weighs in at 2310 calories and, according to his count (I didn’t bother), 73 ingredients! Unless this is a joke? I can never tell with the Internet…

Unfortunately, it is NOT a joke. It has been making the rounds due to a Yahoo!Health expose at http://health.yahoo.com/experts/eatthis/5027/americas-unhealthiest-drinks-exposed/ (We have been having some time discussing some of the lower-caloried drinks on that list over at DiabeticRockstars, where the sugar in a bottle of “Vitamin Water” is enough to send some of our members scrambling for their insulin pumps.)

I just highlighted this on my blog as well. What a crack up! Enough fat at 12 Krispy Kremes. Yikes…everyone at my work today was saying, “that should be illegal”

Drink it if you want.
It’s not like anyone else cares what you do to your body.
