For all the mess - to say nothing of the deaths and illnesses - caused by the contamination, we'll finally see some real changes in favor of consumer protection. Of course, as you always point out, we have to remain attentive to ensure that commercial interests don't exert more than their fair share of influence on the final outcome. And there's an update on Stewart Parnell's role on the PSB: he's been booted off.
