Tweets @marionnestle

Technophobe that I am, I firmly resist calls to Twitter.    Surely, you don’t really care where I am or what I eat.   But thanks to a twitter-pushing friend, you can now get these posts via Twitter @marionnestle.  Enjoy!

I already have you in my RSS feeder so if it’s only links to your posts, then there’s no point for me. But I would totally follow you on Twitter if you were tweeting other stuff as well.

Actually I do find the subject of what people eat pretty interesting and would be keen to know what you eat, especially since you are a nutritionist!

But Twitter is much more than that. It’s part micro-blogging – for those short posts that don’t require a full post. But the real value is the interactions with other people and the conversations that take place on Twitter. I’ve found it to be extremely useful and interesting, not just fun.

Believe me, you’d be surprised. Ever since I told a diabetic friend that the amount of insulin you take is related to the total carbohydrate (not just sugar, as she mistakenly believed), she’s been asking me what to eat.

I am surprised by how much I enjoy my tweets. It’s a nice compliment to blogs and always easily accessible on my phone. I’ll be following you! And I’m tweeting at Doesabodygood.
