Food Navigator assesses the Food Safety Modernization Act

I am a daily reader of, a newsletter aimed at the food industry.  Occasionally the site collects posts on one subject.   This collection deals with food safety since Congress passed the new law more than a year ago.  The Interactive Timeline is particularly useful.

    One food safety issue that needs to be address is the added preservatives in foods, such as BHT.

    Laws like this are good, but only if consumers do their part and avoid junk ingredients. Pure artificial additives are still artificial additives.
