A very happy birthday to a book that was instrumental in my nutrition career!
A hearty congratulations, Marion! Here’s to a groundbreaking title that launched discussion for over a decade, and for many decades to come.
Congratulations Marion. I remember you mentioned in a previous post that you don’t get much fan mail, so I wanted to let you know that the work you are doing is inspirational. I’m just getting around to reading the book now, but I follow the blog with great interest, and am now going back to school in the hopes of following in your ground-breaking footsteps, here in South Africa.
Happy Birthday Marion!
The world of food would be different without you and your strong voice… Wishing you many more to come and Thank you!
Happy anniversary! You’ve been such an inspiration to me and so many others. Thank you for being such a logical, smart voice out there in the confusing world (made even more confusing by the big food industry) of food and nutrition!
Congratulations Prof. Nestle ^^
It is impossible for me to understand those inconvenient truths without reading your books. I do appreciate your guidance and help in helping so many people develop their consciousnesses in the field of food and its relevant.
Happy Food Politics! Thank you for sharing so much useful information
I would you have a great birthday!
It’s comforting to have Marion Nestle in the world speaking truth to power. Here is to ten more years. Cheers!
Happy Birthday Food Politics, on to the next decade!
The idea that profit-maximizing behavior by food companies might harm your health and your waistline is a more mainstream idea now than it was back in 2002 when Food Politics was first published .
Happy birthday Marion, like other here you have been an inspiration to me also. I wish you many more years of helping others just like me. Thanks.
Happy Anniversary Marion. I am a huge fan and supporter of your work. You have been instrumental in my work as an educator, wholesome and healthy foods advocate as well as researcher. I first discovered you as a doctoral student and have followed you ever since. I know that I can count on you to come forward with the truth which is something I appreciate. Keep up the great work. I’ll be getting this edition in May for sure!
