Interesting article. Where do you stand on the timing of eating more generally? Diet and weight-loss experts often advocate eating several small meals a day, arguing that this raises metabolism. Is this true? Also, what about late-night eating? Is there really any link between eating late and maintaining a healthy weight?

One thing that popped into my head – if a majority of kids do better by eating breakfast, that could just mean that it’s a 51/49 ratio, which would mean a lot of kids do OK without breakfast.

I eat breakfast when I wake up hungry, which is not every day. Many, many days I eat two substantial meals and no snacks.
